An Remington 870 Police Magnum

The Remington 870 is an pump-action shotgun designed and manufactured by American firearms company Remington Arms. It is widely featured in many movies and video games.

The Remington 870 was designed in 1951, as the fourth major design in Remington's pump-action shotguns. The shotgun was commonly used by armed forces and law enforcement worldwide. It is also popular among civilians. The weapon was adopted by the US Armed Forces as the "M870".

Design Features Edit

The Remington 870 is an pump-action weapon, it features a bottom-loading, side ejecting receiver, tubular magazine under the barrel, dual action bars, internal hammer, and a bolt which locks into an extension in the barrel. The weapon is available in different bores, it is available in 12, 16, 20, 28 gauges and .410 bore. The most common one is the 12 gauge version. It can be fed with 4 - 7 rounds in a internal tube magazine.
