History and Features Edit
The Remington Model 700 was first introduced in 1962, it was a rifle designed for mass production. The weapon is bolt-action operated, it is available with different calibers (usually chambers in .308 Winchester/7.62x51mm NATO) and configurations. It is fed from an internal magazine (detachable magazines for certain models) which has a capacity from 3-6 rounds. Due to the rifle's excellent performances and reasonable price, it is widely used by law enforcements and armed forces worldwide as an sniper rifle. It is also an common hunting and sporting rifle available in civilian market.
